Discover Sonic, an exciting new 28-storey development by Lindvest, which is currently under construction at 18 Ferrand Drive (Don Mills Rd and Eglinton Ave E.) in Toronto. Sonic is expected to be completed in 2020.

Sales for available units range in price from $784,900 to over $892,900. Sonic has a total of 320 units. Sizes range from 888 to 993 square feet. Most suites have generous balconies.

The project’s name, Sonic, reflects the dynamism of the future, says Joseph Alberga, Lindvest’s sales and marketing director. And with all that’s going on in the area, the future is bright. “We’re catching the wave” says Alberga. “This is an area that has been under-served by condos.”

The suites are designed by Union31, who also designed the building interiors. Suites exhibit a timeless and modern, and are cleverly laid out to maximize living space. The kitchens feature two-tone wood and lacquer cabinetry, stainless steel and integrated appliances and drop-in cooktops, while the bathrooms offer a sanctuary for indulgence and relaxation.

Standard features in each unit include plank laminate flooring, floor-to-ceiling window systems, custom designed kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, quartz countertops, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, and in-suite Energy Recovery Ventilators to provide excellent indoor air quality and comfort.

The development offers over a whopping 25,000 square feet of amenities including yoga and fitness studios, steam rooms, a hobby room, music room, party room, concierge. Indoor amenities reflect a mid-century modern decor.

For pet lovers, there’s a pet spa. And for those who wish to welcome visitors, there’s a guest suite. Topping all of this off, literally, is a rooftop amenities area which offers dining, cabanas and BBQs.

Lindvest recruited a world-class team to create Sonic. Award-winning Page + Steele/IBI Group Architects designed the sleek 28-storey tower atop a three-storey podium that will be one of the tallest buildings in the area. That tower comprises the first phase. A second similar tower will come in Phase 2.

The Sonic project is located in a residential neighbourhood and suites will offer views of the extensive greenspace in the area. Landscape amenities include a large landscaped park designed by NAK Design Group that includes a figure eight-shaped walking path, children’s playground, intimate seating alcoves, a water feature and exercise equipment.
